"Sarkari Jaanch Kendra helped me take that first step — getting tested early."
When I found out I was HIV positive, I was scared and unsure of what to do next. The sarkari jaanch kendra guided me with care and support. I learnt that early testing and timely treatment make all the difference and it is completely free and confidential.
"I used to suffer from sores and unusual discharge until I got tested "
It was really difficult for me to deal with and I didn’t know what was wrong. On testing, turns out, it was syphilis but early detection and immediate treatment helped me bounce back fast. Now I know that timely care really can defeat Syphilis and other STIs.
After a moment of panic following a potential HIV exposure, I wasn’t sure where to seek help without feeling judged. Through Breakfree, I used the Self-Risk Assessment tool, which gave me clarity on my level of risk. I also connected with a counsellor who was supportive and guided me on the next steps, including testing and follow-up. The platform helped me move from fear to informed action, and today I feel calmer, more confident, and in control of my health.
When I was diagnosed with HIV, I felt overwhelmed and uncertain about how to proceed, especially with concerns around privacy at nearby centres. Through Breakfree, I was able to find testing and treatment facilities in a different district using the pincode-based search, which made me feel more comfortable. The platform ensured I could access care discreetly while receiving the right guidance for treatment. Today, I am on proper treatment and living a normal life, with my privacy fully respected.
I had several questions about HIV and was unsure where to find reliable, accurate information. Through Breakfree, I was able to access trusted guidance and connect with counsellors who addressed my concerns with clarity and patience. The platform provided a safe and non-judgmental space to seek information, while also guiding me towards the right services when needed. This support helped me feel informed, reassured, and more confident in making decisions about my health.
